*Notes about this piece before I get into trouble: When I was commissioned by
to do this piece, she was kind enough to give me reference. That reference was the cover to X-Men #24, originally penciled by Andy Kubert, in which she has a small collection of sketch card takes of. Most X-Men fans recognized the likeness of the cover on site and the card itself, now gone, says "after Kubert". I just scanned it in before I wrote it.
So, it is DEFINITELY a 'swipe' of Andy's concept for his X-Men cover just done in my style.
